Do you offer a warranty?

Yes - I offer a 3 month warranty on the battery.

Why would I choose a refurbished battery over a new battery from the dealer for my vehicle?

Purchasing a new battery from the dealer is a good option if you don’t mind spending $4,000 to $6,000. New batteries only come with a 12-month warranty. West Michigan Hybrid Battery Repair has an option for less than a quarter of that cost and offers a 3-month warranty.

What makes West Michigan Hybrid Battery Restore unique/better than the other guys?

We only use battery modules that have gone through our system that revitalizes them up to 90% capacity level of when your vehicle’s battery was brand new. This is a very expensive and precise process that gives you the assurance your vehicle is in tip-top shape when we hand you your keys. We also use upgraded Bus Bars that have been nickel plated so that in the future they don’t corrode and give you the same problem that got you in this situation. The other guys don’t spend the money to do this.

Is it safe to repair the hybrid battery myself?

There is a reason most qualified auto mechanics do not work on hybrid batteries. These batteries contain a very high voltage and could result in significant injury or death. We discourage anyone that is not a professional from attempting to go this route.

Do you have any batteries ready to go to exchange with minimal downtime?

Yes, we have stock of Prius and Camry batteries that we can exchange.

Do you offer new batteries?

No, we do not. We only specialize in battery repair.

What is your battery repair service area?

We are located 20 minutes west of Grand Rapids Michigan. You can bring us your car from anywhere around Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, or Illinois. We are happy to help.

How long does the battery repair process take once my car is dropped off?

Typically, we are done within 24-48 hours.

Can you pick up and drop off my car?

No, we do not offer this service. You will need to get the car to us and then pick it up when we are done.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash and check, full payment is due at time of pickup.

Do you offer a financing option?

At this time we do not.

Will you work with dealerships?

Yes, we work with both individuals and dealerships.
